Biomechanical Assessment
Our Biomechanical assessment allows for a comprehensive evaluation of the structure, alignment and function of the feet and legs while standing and during walking. It involves a range of motion studies, manual muscle testing and video gait analysis of the pelvis, hips, ankle and feet. This helps our podiatrist to determine what is hurting and why. The personalised approach to assessment and treatment provides effective and targeted recovery from injury and relief from symptoms. Gait analysis is conducted through the use of video footage which allows the podiatrist to slow down, speed up and pause your foot and lower leg motion leading to a more accurate and detailed analysis.
